Marge Casey + associates, a leading photography agency in New York, has internship positions currently available. You must have excellent organizational skills, be able to multi-task efficiently and have the ability to interface well with all departments of the company.



The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment. This job is a full time position.



Digital:

-Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and InDesign especially for image cropping/prepping, layouts, etc.

-Excellent organizational skills-working with large image database management systems a huge plus.

-Interest in photography as it applies to design and media.

-Experience and interest in photo editing, portfolio building.

-Comfortable with uploading and downloading images to internal and external ftp drives, working with website backend.

-Experience with Dreamweaver and reading/writing HTML, video editing/videography a plus, some copy writing interest all huge pluses.



Marketing/General Office:

-Assist in keeping the production schedule for agency marketing campaign.

- Update our client database system.

-Call agencies to verify mailing information and current personnel.

-Keep track of all art buyers and creatives moving companies and positions through facebook, linkedin, etc.

-Collect current job information from the sales team to help update and maintain our marketing campaigns.

-Assist in creating, fact checking and reviewing all outgoing mailing lists and emailing lists to help maintain an effective and efficient campaign.

-Receive all incoming calls to the agency connecting call to the appropriate staff member or taking messages

-Assist all visitors and messengers

-Receive and log packages, mail and portfolio drop-offs

-Maintain the overall appearance and efficiency of the entire office

-Tend to any administrative needs of Partners

-Schedule and log all conference room meetings and conference lines

-Take notes of staff meetings or otherwise when needed



Portfolio:

-Assist Portfolio Manager with organizing portfolio traffic, promos, etc.

-Order and maintain office equipment and supplies: phones, copiers, fax machines, kitchen appliances, snacks for staff, etc.

-Responsible for keeping kitchen clean and organized

-Keep supply room organized, sending items to storage when needed

-Responsible for updating, maintaining and distributing all phone lists





REQUIREMENTS for all positions:

-Strong MSOffice skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

-Strong organizational, communication and follow-through skills.

-BE PROACTIVE
